Once each
Every row and every column holds each letter exactly once. The leftover cells stay empty.
A daily logic puzzle · iPhone, iPad and Android
One new puzzle a day, the same one for everyone. Place each letter once in every row and column, read the clues around the edge, and never once have to guess.
How it plays
The whole game fits on a postcard. The in-app walkthrough teaches it on a tiny puzzle in about a minute.
Every row and every column holds each letter exactly once. The leftover cells stay empty.
A letter outside the grid is the first one you’d see looking in from that side. Empty cells are see-through, so a clue can point several cells deep.
Every grid is checked by a solver to have exactly one solution, and graded by the reasoning it takes rather than the clues it hides.
The week
Each size appears twice: smooth on the first day, twisty on the second, when it takes a few what-ifs to crack. Sunday finishes on a seven-by-seven Expert.
